World Café on What Intelligence and Personality Might Offer a Coach

Friday Morning Plenary Session:
Facilitated by Select Members from the GCA Executive Committee

(lodge)

Emotional Intelligence Organizational Intelligence and Social Intelligence are three ways to assess how clients are performing under different environmental challenges; personality is different from intelligence because personality traits are considered to be constant throughout a person’s lifetime.

In this plenary session participants will look at the assumptions made by different assessment tools.  Environmental challenges can tell a coach something about a client’s natural set of skills that coaches can develop; however, natural personality traits of temperament, preference and level of interest are often hard-wired into ones personality.  Gaining greater insight and greater understanding can help a coach work with a wider variety of ideal clients and can help a coach intelligently work around issues that are let open to change.
