Thomas M. Greaney, M.Ed., LADC, CCDP
What do Razzle, Dazzle Rose, The Grinch, Pinocchio, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and captivating visualizations have in common? They are creative vehicles used by Tom Greaney to engage and retain clients. By presenting material that is meaningful and memorable, Tom helps coaches enliven or revitalize a career and avert burnout.
Through the use of videos and interactive exercises, Tom weaves an engaging experience to captivate participants and spark lively discussion. A gifted facilitator, Tom takes a strengths-based approach to coaching and offers highly effective alternatives to the mundane didactic approach to facilitation.
Creativity is not so much a talent as a state of mind — a willingness to make mental connections and create new possibilities. It has the ability to not only enliven a discussion but to refresh a career.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to identify and apply a variety of techniques to spark a richer connection between a client’s presenting obstacle or challenge and the thinking which they use to meet to meet it.
- Build a greater awareness for what creativity can be for your client.
- Develop strategies to shift the lens that your client is using so that the coaching conversation to can be more fulfilling and robust.
- Explore the values and defaults that often limit and control client thinking and take specific actions to change them.
- Develop techniques to move a client past the standard attitudes that lead to frustration and repetition.
Tom has established himself as an important resource for taking creative approaches to group and individual therapy to engage clients and stave off coach burnout.
