How Will You Empower Your Clients Through Fabulous Coaching Questions?

The workshop will begin with participants discussing the types of questions they tend to ask their clients — and why.

Next, participants will be placed in pairs and guided through the process of asking open-ended questions.

Then, participants will be placed in quads (2 pairs) and practice coaching their peers through a challenge using open-ended questions.

The session will conclude with participants engaging in a reflection and interactive discussion of key takeaways.

NOTE: The entire workshop will be facilitated — lightheartedly — with Dr. Elliott and participants only asking open-ended questions.

  • Learning objective 1: Understand the role of open-ended questions in the coaching profession.
  • Learning objective 2: Watch and practice the art of asking open-ended coaching questions.
  • Learning objective 3: Learn how to empower clients through effective coaching questions.

Participants will develop their coaching skills through effective skills modeling, peer learning, and hands-on practice. They’ll also gain new perspectives as a coach and coachee.
