Sessions for the 2021 Spring Virtual Conference
Our Spring Virtual Conference provides a platform to connect with your coaching peers from the Gay Coaches Alliance community and other talented gay men coaches attending a GCA event for the first time.
Join us online for two days of interactive workshops delivered by expert members of the GCA community. We will be exploring a wide range of themes, including topics you wouldn’t find at any other coaching conference.
Our overarching theme is to help you have a fantastic and productive 2021 for your coaching practice.
Your event provocateurs are Chris Cooper and Pete Simmonds, who throughout the two days will inspire you to explore new ideas and concepts to enhance your coaching success.
All sessions can be booked individually by GCA members, attendees of the International Gay Coaches Conference and other gay men coaches new to our community. The conference is available to book free of charge as a fundraiser for the host of our annual in person conference, Easton Mountain.
with Mark Schall
How are you “hard wired” to contribute to the world? What’s your life purpose? What is your “wired in life challenge”?
There are many personality assessments out there that attempt to measure our personalities and give us insights into who we are. In actuality, our personality is an adapted version of self. It’s developed throughout our lives beginning in childhood by learning which behaviors and ways of being are rewarded and which ones are not. While many aspects of our personalities help us succeed, some get in our way. We live by a set of learned adaptive responses that often do not serve us.
The Core Values Index (CVI) Assessment is a revolutionary assessment that goes beneath “personality”, and is believed to measure instead the innate unchanging nature of a person that determines what they find engaging in the world, how they are driven to and meant to contribute, what their conflict strategies are. The applications of the CVI are many from relationship coaching, business optimization, career choice, employee selection, and discovering what our highest and best contribution is in the world.
Mark has been using this assessment with his clients for 10 years and says it’s his favorite.
For the purposes of this workshop, it is suggested that attendees take the CVI assessment, available for free at this link
* There is an option to upgrade your free report to a paid one for $50. This is not necessary in order to participate in the workshop. It is only encouraged. Mark will be donating 100% of the $15 commission he makes on each upgraded CVI to Easton Mountain.
