Move to 2022: This Year’s International Gay Coaches Conference Postponed

It is with sadness that Gay Coaches Alliance have taken the decision to postpone this year’s International Gay Coaches Conference to 2022.

Scheduled for April 28 - May 2 2021, the conference organizing committee in partnership with the GCA Exec Board explored all opportunities to maintain an in person event this year. This included looking at dates in October.

However, due to ongoing uncertainty regarding international travel and other restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been decided the most prudent course of action is to delay meeting up in person to April 2022. This will hopefully enable the conference to proceed with greater certainty and in the same format as previous versions.

This is the second year in a row it has not been possible to hold the conference in person, following the postponement of the 2020 event. Those men who booked for the 2020 conference will have their existing reservations and deposits transferred to the 2022 conference. All existing programming for the event carried forward to 2022, subject to availability of scheduled presenters.

The good news,
we will once again be delivering a two day Gay Coaches Virtual Conference, following the great success of the event last April and our new Winter Virtual Conference in January. This event will take place on Friday April 30 and Saturday 1 May.

As we are aware this is still a challenging time for many in our community, we will offer this event free of charge for all gay men who work as coaches. This also provides a further fundraising opportunity to support Easton Mountain.

We are currently looking for 75 minute workshop presentations for the Virtual Conference. If you are a GCA member and are interested in presenting, please contact Pete Simmonds at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

More details of the 2021 Gay Coaches Virtual Conference will be available in the coming weeks.
