Our Venue: Easton Mountain Retreat Center, NY

The International Gay Coaches Conference is held each year at Easton Mountain in Greenwich, NY.

Easton Mountain is a community, retreat center, and sanctuary created by gay menas a gift to the world. They host a year round program of workshops, programs and events that provide an oppportunity to celebrate, heal, transform, and integrate body, mind, and spirit.

It is truly a venue like no other and provides a welcoming and at the same time spectacular backdrop for our conference every year.

In 2020, Easton Mountain will celebrate its 20th year as a retreat for gay men, with a mission to make the world a better place by helping people to thrive and to live their most authentic lives.

Conferencing Facilities

Sessions are centered around the main building which includes The Great Hall and all catering facilities.

All meals are provided as part of the conference price at no extra cost. A number of options are provided for each meal and special dietary requirements can be catered for.

Sessions are also delivered within The Temple, a separate building adjacent to the pond. 

Accommodation

Accommodation is also provided within the cost of the conference. This is located at The Guest House, which offers two room options. These are quad rooms, which comprise two sets of bunk beds and are shared by up to four men. There is an option to upgrade to a semi-private room, which comprise two larger beds to be shared by up to two men.

All rooms have in recent years been refurbished to offer a very comfortable standard of accommodation with en-suite facilities.

Other Facilities

Easton Moutain offers a range of other facilities to help you relax during your stay. These include:

  • The Spa Area, including hot tub, massage rooms and showers.
  • The Sauna, a modern outdoor wood-fired sauna, that can accommodate up to 20 and is fired at night.
  • The Outdoor Pool, which is available during warner months, so access is weather dependent.
  • Yoga and meditation classes are provided at The Great Hall and The Temple.
  • Hiking trails suitable for walking and running, throughout the grounds of Easton Mountain.
  • Gift Shop.

Getting There

Easton Mountain is located in the Hudson Valley approximately 30 miles North of Albany, New York and conveniently located within a three-hour drive of Boston, New York City, and Montreal. See below for turn by turn directions.

You can fly into the Albany airport, take the Megabus or AMTRAK to Albany (Rensselaer Station), or take the Greyhound/Trailways to Albany. Travel from New York to Albany by train takes around three hours.
