Present at BOND 2027

BOND is our 8th Winter Virtual, and the first half of the International Gay Coaches Summit. Like all our gatherings, it's led by our community. We're looking for seven sessions across the two days, and we'd love one of them to be yours.

Our 2027 theme: BOND

  • Connect with men who understand your craft and what you carry
  • Deepen your practice and break isolation
  • Begin the healing that only happens in company

BOND is where the practical side of our work lives: growing your practice, sharpening your skills and learning from each other. But it's still personal. We want sessions that help gay men who coach feel less alone in their work, and that begin the conversation about shame we'll carry on together at OPEN in May.

What makes a great BOND session

At BOND, there's only one session running at a time, so everyone's in the room with you. That means every session needs to keep people with it from start to finish. We're looking for presenters who are confident and experienced at delivering online, and sessions that are:

  • Interactive: people taking part, not just listening
  • Light on slides: a few to guide things are fine, but not a long presentation
  • Energizing: using breakout rooms, discussion, practice or other ways to keep people engaged throughout

Need some inspiration?

Here are some ideas to get you started. Feel free to bring something completely different.

  • Finding and connecting with the clients you most want to work with
  • Marketing that feels like you: content and messages that land, without the hard sell
  • Pricing, packages and talking about money with confidence
  • Using AI and technology well in your coaching business
  • A coaching tool or model you use with clients, shared so others can try it
  • Coaching gay, bi and queer clients: what we bring that others can't
  • Breaking isolation: building peer support and community when you work on your own
  • Working with shame in coaching conversations, for your clients and for yourself
  • Creating real presence and connection when you coach online
  • Planning your year, with clear intentions and actions for 2027

Who can present?

Anyone who's coming to BOND and is confident presenting online. You don't need a coaching qualification or ICF credential. Alongside coaches, we welcome therapists, bodyworkers, sacred intimates and others whose work speaks to gay men who coach. What matters most is that you're skilled in what you do, your session fits the theme, and you can bring it to life on Zoom.

Guidelines for presenters

  • Your session fits the BOND theme and GCA's values.
  • You're an experienced online presenter, comfortable on Zoom with your camera on.
  • Your session is interactive and engaging, with slides kept to a minimum.
  • Your session is relevant to GCA members and the men coming to BOND.
  • You've registered for BOND or plan to.
  • Presenting is voluntary and isn't paid.
  • Each session runs for 75 minutes and stands on its own. It isn't a chance to promote your coaching, books, programs or other services, or those of any organization you represent.
  • After BOND, we submit the program to the ICF. Sessions the ICF approves earn CCEUs, and we send a certificate to everyone who attended them. The proposal form asks how your session links to the ICF Core Competencies, but sessions that don't qualify are just as welcome.

How to propose a session. Fill in our short proposal form. Proposals for BOND close on Monday 21 December 2026.
